Collection: E3 WING / PRONE / DOWNWIND

The new E3 range is designed to maximize early lift off by increasing the efficiency of the hull. Simply put, this has been achieved by elongating the subsurface footprint and eliminating all horizontal edges that increase drag at sub planning speeds

INHERENT DESIGN FEATURES OF THE E3 KALAMA PERFORMANCE DESIGNS.

Full carbon, high density foam molded PVC sandwich construction.

All boxes and foot strap inserts are reinforced with high density foam insets and additional carbon.

We use a resin tint finish layer resulting in a tough and paint chip free construction.

TIP TO TAIL (T2T) DYNAMIC HULL DESIGN
  1. The hull is designed to minimize drag from horizontal edges at sub planning speeds.
  2. Foiled subsurface outline to increase initial acceleration.
  3. Progressive vertical bottom edge to promote early lift-off.
  4. Progressive chine towards the tail reduces drag at lift-off.
CHINE RAILS
  1. Promote early lift-off.
  2. Reduce drag on touch downs.
  3. Allow sharper turn angles without touching the water.
ROUNDED AND SOFT NOSE EDGES
  1. Greater level of efficiency at sub planning speeds.
  2. Early lift off through greater acceleration at initiation of take-off.
HIGH VOLUME DESIGNS
  1. Higher paddling efficiency
  2. Earlier lift off through higher buoyancy
  3. Increase stability to width ratio
